I had some Border Leicester locks that I had dyed last Fall, that I processed into roving for Spinzilla. Border Leicester is an easy spin and a favorite of mine.
When I was finished with the Border Leicester, I spun up some natural colored Shetland, that I had purchased at a fiber sale. It had a little more VM than I would have liked, but I still managed to spin 4 oz.
We lost power Saturday evening, so Sunday I took the spinning wheel outdoors and spun until dusk.(still didn't have power)
It has been unseasonably warm in Michigan, so I was able to spin on the deck in short sleeves and bare feet, which is rare for October.
1,992 yards spun, I was hoping for at least 4,000 but life just didn't let that happen.
