Winter is finally upon us! The ground is white and wind chills below zero.
We had put the sheep in the barnyard, where they have some shelter, due to freezing rain. With winter storms coming through the area and below zero wind chills, they are still there.
They make a lot of noise when they are penned up... waiting for the gate to be opened so they can roam, but it looks like they will be waiting a little longer...

Oh, just look at their faces. They look like they're wondering where summer and the grass went. They're so gorgeous. I always wanted a few sheep but never got any.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Toni
Thank you!
DeleteI am wondering where the summer and grass went too. Last year flew by!
They certainly do let you know just what they are thinking don't they:?)
ReplyDeleteThey have been especially noisy...Still waiting to return them to the pasture, looks like the weekend-if we don't get freezing rain!
DeleteI have the mindset of the sheep... let me out! I get cabin fever so easily nowadays and I just can't wait to get some fresh air on dry, sunny days. Spring won't come soon enough for me!
ReplyDeleteWe have had a mild winter, compared to the last two, but I am still looking forward to Spring and having things be green again :)
DeleteI just love looking at your sheep with the winter backdrop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing on this week's blog hop!

My goats are not happy ether. They want out in the woods but the woods are bare right now
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful, and it looks so cold! I would not be trying to get out in that weather, I'd be curled up around the nearest heat source. I need a wool coat, I guess. :)
