Delaney was out taking pictures yesterday, and found the goats among some fallen trees.
Goat Paradise!
You won't find any sheep up there.
A Goat's Playground
I did notice, they had buckle collars on-I need to get out there and take them off. We use the plastic chain (break away) collars for the goats so they do not hang themselves up on branches, etc. They are still wearing their collars from Fair. Oops!

That is funny!! I never even though about the collars! Lots to learn before I ever get goats!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Sandra! You're right, goats will climb on just about anything.

Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteI see you notice things you may have forgotten when you review your pictures too. Yesterday I reminded myself I still hadn't taken the collar off the wether we took to the fair last month. With horned sheep who spend a lot of time together jousting for position around the hay they can strangle each other by being tangled up. "Oops" is right. Still, what fun for your goats. Your goats are very sleek and healthy looking, I love seeing animals looking so good.
ReplyDeleteKathy, Thanks :)
DeleteThere are too many things to remember :)
They look like they are having fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the goat pics! Are those Oberhaslis? Our daughter raised O's for a 4-H project years ago. We haven't had any goats for a while, but I'm thinking about getting a couple of Nubians in the spring as I love making cheese with fresh milk. Have a great week!
ReplyDeletethanks!
DeleteThey are Oberhasli goats :)
Goats are so adventurous. I agree sheep not so much but I have this one in my flock and she loves to jump up onto stuff. I'm always concerned she's going to hurt herself.

We get lambs that like to jump and climb, but my ewes are much to serious :)
DeleteLove it!!!
