I did a walk through the buildings visiting the different vendor booths, but I will admit that most of the time was spent in the sheep barns. One of the draws were the Border Leicesters, being the National Show/Sale, there were quite a few to admire
The plan was to bring a couple of white Border Leicesters home with us, but all we managed to do was drive up the bids. We did buy two Natural Colored BL lambs, and an unplanned purchase of two Romney ewes.

We are trying to build our flock numbers, but the last few lambing seasons have been ram heavy, so that means bringing in new ewes.
Overall, it was a nice festival and made for a nice weekend.

That sounds like a whole lot of fun! When we were living in Ohio, I was able to go to that show one year and really enjoyed it :-) I came home with a lovely Corriedale fleece that was a joy to spin.
