Wow, it has been a while since we have done a farm post, so here goes...
Summer is winding down, and Fall is almost upon us.
This time of year we are selling lambs, deciding which ewe lambs are staying, checking the condition of our ewes, and determining if there are ewes we can't keep (not easy for me).
We plan on having a few January/February lambs for Fair, so we have a group of ewes in the Barnyard with the Tunis Ram.
Mike spent the weekend mowing the fields, and fixing a fence that had some trees topple on it. Of course, the goats took complete advantage of the fence problem...
Enemy to Wool but a nice perch for a visitor. |
I am still growing into my ears- Just call me Bat Girl |
We are hoping that we get a few days of dry weather so we can get that third cut of hay off of the field. It has been a wet summer.
