Pasture Happenings

Spring is a time when the grass grows faster than everyone can keep up.

The lambs seem to be growing just as fast!

We have a few sheep in the barnyard, to help keep the weeds grass down. They are the cutest weed eaters I ever saw.

Sheep love Nettles, Dandelions, Burdock, and grass, almost as much as the goats.

We are enjoying the wonderful Spring weather,  and the long, hard winter is becoming a distant memory.

Happy Monday!

  3. We "hired" 11 rams to mow our back field. Will be sad when they head back for breeding season.

  5. They are cute, Sandra. I had a lamb named Mary Lou when I was a little girl. I was four. When we moved to town, my mom talked me into trading her for a turtle! That's back when little turtles were considered pets and could be bought at the store.
