Living in Michigan, I can testify to the "snowyness". It sure is beautiful though (especially when viewing it while sitting in front of a fire sipping hot chocolate!)
I agree, it is beautiful, and it looks like the temps are going to make it into the double digits. We may be able to enjoy it a little bit! Thanks for stopping by!!
Love the pictures! But church was cancelled? I was born in the UP of Michigan, and what I remember as a little girl was that school was never canceled due to snow, they just loaded it up in dump trucks and poured it in to the old mining pit at the end of the road. When did they start canceling things due to snow?
We had a service cancelled in Missouri, the roads were so icy that the roads were not drivable, especially these windy back roads that follow ridge tops.
Our goats don't like the snow. ha ha! Church was closed for my friend here in Ohio too. I'm busy in the kitchen. I'll be posting about it tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOur goats do not like snow either! The sheep don't seem to mind too much.
DeleteThe sheep don't look look very happy about the snow. I am glad to see the end of January nearing. Sorry you missed church : (
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait until Spring!! This cold weather is getting old :)
DeleteBrrr! I wouldn't want to be livestock this winter.
ReplyDeleteIt may be chilly, and unsafe to travel but it sure does look pretty. :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree, the snow is beautiful! I just wish it was a wee bit warmer so we could enjoy it :)

I have a red lantern like your blue one and I love it! Beautiful with the snow and sheep. Visiting via "FromtheFarm" blog hop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Barb! My husband collects lanterns so we have quite a few around here :)
