HomeAcre Hop #32

Lily Crushing on the Cows at Fair

This week has been much slower since Fair is over and I have been spending the week playing catch up!

I was blessed with a box of cucumbers, a little big for making Dill Pickles so I tried my hand at Dill Relish.

Looks like we will be getting a third cutting of hay (YAY!)  Our apple trees are loaded, we have been waiting 4 years for these trees to produce. Pears are looking good and we are getting a few peaches from our new trees!  Looking forward to the canning days ahead!

I  have enjoyed all of your gardening, harvesting, canning, and homesteading post!
Keep 'em coming!!!

  1. Interesting how you call it "Fair" and we say "The Fair." I notice silly stuff like that. :)

  2. My pears, peaches and apples are all getting ready too! I see lots of canning in my future too. Our county fair starts in 3 weeks, can't wait!

Thank you for stopping by the farm!

We appreciate your comments!
