Tour De Fleece 2013, Day One!

I decided to link up with the Tour De Fleece 2013.  I had never heard of it until a few days ago when I was reading a post from Punkin"s  Patch Blog. It is a spinning challenge that is set up on Ravelry.

I figured I might as well jump in and join the fun. I have been calling myself a newbie to spinning for too long. Time to make a commitment to improve and get some use out of my spinning wheel that spends too much time in a corner collecting dust.

The picture is from Day One!

  1. Oh Happy spinning,Sandra! I looked at fleece last night. I thought about spinning. Maybe this evening I'll actually do some.
I like to take my spinning outdoors too. It's so relaxing!

  5. This sounds so fun! Spinning is something I'd love to learn to do eventually. I don't know much about fiber and don't know how to knit or crochet but it's very fascinating! You've got a really nice view to look at while you're working :)

    1. After I got my first ewes I ran out and bought a wheel. I have had it a long time and it has collected a lot of dust over the years. I have learned about fibers, recently learned some basic knitting and now I am trying to get serious about spinning.
