I decided to link up with the Tour De Fleece 2013. I had never heard of it until a few days ago when I was reading a post from Punkin"s Patch Blog. It is a spinning challenge that is set up on Ravelry.
I figured I might as well jump in and join the fun. I have been calling myself a newbie to spinning for too long. Time to make a commitment to improve and get some use out of my spinning wheel that spends too much time in a corner collecting dust.
The picture is from Day One!

Oh Happy spinning,Sandra! I looked at fleece last night. I thought about spinning. Maybe this evening I'll actually do some.
ReplyDeleteI like to take my spinning outdoors too. It's so relaxing!
With all the rain we have been getting it was nice to sit outside and spin (or try to spin ;) )
DeleteSweet spinning spot!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I decided to spin outside as much as the weather permits :)
DeleteOh, to spin with that view in front of you. Wonderful idea Sandra. :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds fascinating group!
ReplyDeletePeople post pictures of their in the group, it is lovely!
DeleteThis sounds so fun! Spinning is something I'd love to learn to do eventually. I don't know much about fiber and don't know how to knit or crochet but it's very fascinating! You've got a really nice view to look at while you're working :)
ReplyDeleteAfter I got my first ewes I ran out and bought a wheel. I have had it a long time and it has collected a lot of dust over the years. I have learned about fibers, recently learned some basic knitting and now I am trying to get serious about spinning.
DeleteLooks like a fun way to sit outside and enjoy the day.
