It has been an eventful week. My farm girl/photographer broke her collar bone. She is having a hard time being "still". She needs to be extra careful this week, due to the type of break they are doing another x- ray next week and will consider surgery if things look worse. She told me today that she feels lazy. She doesn't like being house bound.
The water is almost gone but we still have about a dozen geese occupying the pastures. We have been watching for babies but haven't seen any.
The Tunis never fail to come up for a visit when we are walking the field. I still am not use to "petting" the sheep. These two girls are the most friendly.

The kids are growing fast and are always on the move. Sophie is very friendly and makes a nuisance of herself during milking. The bucks steer clear of us humans.
We did manage to get a picture of them where they look like they are actually "posing" for us.

Thanks for stopping by and visiting with us! Have a great week/weekend!

Oh thank you I truly needed that weekly dose. B
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope she survives her week being still, and that she doesn't need to have surgery.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your daughter -- so difficult to keep them still!
ReplyDeleteLove the lambies and goaties -- I keep kidding my hubby I want some, but only until they grow up, then I'd give them away to family and friends. Lol.
What wonderful pictures... and your poor daughter... my husband has broken one twice, and it's best to follow doctor's orders.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and the well wishes! Her summer is not going to be what she planned. So we are trying to come up with a new plan.
ReplyDeleteSandra,
ReplyDeleteHope your Farmgirl is on the mend. I seem to be on the move all the time too; I can understand not wanting to be house bound.
Your livestock look so happy. Livestock on green grass makes me happy too. I love it when the sheep smile! The goats all lined up is a neat shot.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you Robyn!
DeleteYour animals are so cute!!!! They've made my day:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings~~ Shine
